Terms & Conditions

Please read the following Terms and Conditions before booking your Portrait & Casting session:

1. Booking Deposit & Rates:
1: A deposit will be required upon making your booking. Session deposits are $100.
2: Session rates are subject to change for future bookings, and you cannot claim a previous session rate if the rates have changed.

2. Cancellations:
1: If you cancel your session with more than 7 days notice, your deposit will be refunded to you.
2: The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations within 7 days before a session. You may choose to reschedule your session (see point 3).

3. Change of session date and time:
1: Sessions can be changed with no loss of deposit with more than 72hrs notice before your session time.
2: If you change your session within 72hrs,  you will lose your deposit, and the deposit amount will be added to your invoice. Some exceptions may apply.
3: Sessions held and not fulfilled due to unforeseen circumstances will be on a case by case basis, to reschedule a new deposit will be required.

4. Weather:
1: If we plan to shoot outdoors, we may need to reschedule your session due to weather, or change to a studio session with no loss to your deposit.
2: If you are unable to reschedule, and cannot shoot indoors, your deposit will be refunded to you.

5. Images and Image Proofs:
1: If you have any specific shoot requirements, please discuss with me prior to the shoot. We will review the photos as we go to ensure we capture your requirements.
2: Image proofs are for viewing only. These images are not to be used for personal or commercial use. Any use, redistribution, or altering of proofs is considered a copyright breach.

6. Retouching:
1: Basic retouching is included in the fee. Basic retouching covers adjustments to contrast, colour, cropping, and basic skin cleanup.
2: If you desire more advanced retouching, extra fees will apply and the delivery time of your images may need to be extended.

7. Image Delivery:
1: Turnaround time is 2 weeks, we set a time during your photoshoot for your in person viewing session.
2: During busy times allow up to 6 to 8 weeks. 
3: If you need your gallery rushed a rush fee of $200 can be applied which bumps you up the list. This is for urgent bookings. Please enquire if you need it by a certain date. Time2Shine Photography does work around the family. 

8. Payment:
Payment is due in full on or prior to the day of the shoot (or as noted on your invoice). For overdue payments, fees may apply.

9. Extra images:
Your booking determines the number of final images you will receive – digital or printed. Extra digital images, prints, wall art, and albums can be purchased in addition to your session/package.

10. Ownership, Copyright, and Permission for Use (Licensing):
1: When booking a photoshoot session you agree that Time2Shine Photography is the sole and exclusive owner to all photos, and reserves all rights and copyright of the photos.
2: For the final digital files included in your session, you are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the photos. You agree that under your license you will not use the photos for: unlawful use, on products for resale, and/or sublicensing.

11. Privacy:

3: Upon booking or after your photoshoot, you have the option to opt in or out of having your images included in our portfolio (website, social media, marketing materials). We respect any decision, and you may change your mind at any time.

12. Refunds:
1: At Time2Shine Photography we do everything in our power to ensure your complete satisfaction with the process and final results. To ensure you’re happy with the photos, we review and discuss the shots as we go. If you require any changes to the photos or approach, please discuss it with us during your shoot, and we encourage you to express any concerns so we can address them. We always check that you are happy with the images before you leave, due to this, we cannot guarantee a refund if you later decide you are unhappy with your results.
2: If you find you are unhappy with the images after our shoot, please get in touch so we can discuss and find an appropriate resolution
3: If you require a refund of your deposit, it will be returned to you via the same method paid. 

13. Extra Castings Terms & Conditions:
1: We retain the right to make slight adjustments to any of our designs if we consider this necessary.  
2: Pictures shown on our website are examples of pieces we have made but each piece is unique. By agreeing to our terms and conditions when you purchase you are agreeing to having a personalised, bespoke piece handmade and accept this.
3: Castings are one of a kind, created with love and handmade with quality and precision. Minor defects may occur but full care is given to ensure the highest quality. If you are not happy we will happily fix what is required. Cost may be charged pending what is needed or why changes are required. 
4: Same rules apply with castings, deposit is required to secure your session with full balance due on the day or before. 
5: Reschedules require a $100 rebooking fee, unless discussed or otherwise stated.
6: Price quoted is the use of two rounds of products. If the moulding does not work after two attempts, an extra cost may apply. This cost will be from $50 per retry. 
7: Should we find any quality issues with our final cast we will arrange a time for another appointment so that another mould can be obtained at our cost.
8: We ask that you do not tamper or undo any of our castings, this can take away the lifespan and quality of Time2Shine's work, please refer to 13.3. 
9: Standard frames and glass are supplied for our everyday castings, making it affordable. Extra heavy duty or bespoke frames are available, our standard frames are still of highest quality. Supplied and completed by our local picture farmers.
