Paulette’s Time2Shine

Last week I had the pleasure of paying it forward to a beautiful mum, wife, grandmother and soon to be g.g.

If you seen our facebook last month, you may of seen my call out of our wonderful lady for her own beautiful Time2Shine photoshoot. They had to either nominate themselves or someone they know who hasn’t had a photoshoot before. Or for themselves anyway. A dozen people or more commented, all so deserving of their own Time2Shine that I thought I’d leave it a little while to see where my heart went.

I couldn’t choose one, so I picked two. One being Paulette, who said it was her 62nd Birthday, a few other things were said but I loved that she nominated herself. Paulette opened up to me and explained the year she had. One thing after another and I was so so pleased my gut was to choose Paulette. She didn’t mentioned any of this when she nominated herself but pouring her out heart, filling me in on the crazy year she’d had, I knew she was the right fit for our Time2Shine Pay it Forward shoot.

When I showed Paulette her beautiful gallery she couldn’t choose just one, beautiful portraits for her daughters she said. And she also choose a couple for herself. Warm fuzzies built up inside me, my face-cheeks hurting as the selection was coming to an end and I could see the beautiful selection had images I was wondering if she’d love as much as I do. And she did. They made the cut, even though Paulette didn’t quite like the outfit on her at the time, she loved it in her gorgeous portraits. It was Paulette’s Time2Shine and shine she did. Glowing from ear to ear, the curls lasted all week and I was even sent beautiful selfies with the curls still in place!

Posting in our Time2Shine Photography Ladies only group, I shared one of Paulette’s beautiful images, which again give’s my face-cheeks a workout from smiling so much, so beautiful, so natural. Paulette left me a wee comment that I couldn’t not share with you all… “Words fail me Laura the shoot was amazing, and just what I needed as a pick me up. Thanks ever so much, loved the shoot, the makeup, the hairdo, and of course, the pics. Sorry I couldn’t pick one large, but so happy with what I bought home.”

Words for me are never enough, images say a thousand words and this one hear speaks it all, so much love, laughter and happiness. Thank you for choosing me to create such beautiful portraits.
