Time2Shine Photography & Castings
The year is 2021 and it was time to listen to my clients and add a new service and skill to my business. I took the plunge and brought in hand and feet castings, my husband and I doing a lot of research, trials and figuring out how to make things work and came up with the most beautiful business that pairs together nicely.
I spent a lot of money on a beautiful casting of my furboy Coby’s seniors paw when he passed away unexpectedly, I wanted something and there was no-one else and not much out there for me to have such a beautiful keepsake, so it was priceless, but bittersweet as I had planned to do his casting myself but didn’t quite hit the finish cart order and take the plunge into our next venture…
Creating a business inside a business makes for having extra high standards. One’s we feel proud we have reached in such a short time due to being surrounded by wonderful businesses that help create the products we do with our hand and feet castings of your sweet newborns and kids hands, not to mention the family hands and koro’s hands we have gotten to do also.
It has been two year’s of creating beautiful hands and feet castings, alongside doing photography and it has been so rewarding, a lot of beautiful work and we have been able to be in awe of how stunning and detailed these gorgeous one of a kind keepsake pieces really are. Having our own little human, we have been making the most of making samples to share with you all, you may even see us at a baby market to spread the word! Not that we need the extra business but we love making it easy on you guys, and if we get too busy we know we have ways to make our systems smoother again, as we have done since our last wee while of being overloaded with beautiful portraits and baby castings. The husband now does a lot of this work behind the scenes which keeps our family together as a full time parents something we love but also has been a big learning experience working, living and creating a beautiful life together 24/7.
Our little human loves exploring the world, loves watching what we get up to but mostly we love guiding him, showing up, explaining and exploring with him too
We’ve meet some amazing people being able to work from home as a little family unit. And some ever lasting connections too.
These beautiful castings we’ve created have been such an honor too. Memories made with families that I know will not only last a lifetime but so will their keepsakes. So much love, so much laughter. Babies we have normally asleep, sometimes this takes time but during a newborn photoshoot we normally wear our little honey’s out so after this we then do castings. Making our newborn photoshoot and castings one of my most popular packages around.
A cosy studio for both newborn photo’s and keepsake castings, we don’t really run on a time crunch, just on babies time to ensure we make the most of this beautiful time together. They’re only so little for so long, and I know I’m one of your first visit’s, and feel so lucky to be the one you go out and see. So allow me to take the reins and do my thing as you watch on, coming in for family portraits to enjoy and the snuggle here and there too.
Options for props or bring your own blankets and outfits, or we can use a bit of both. Family portraits and sibling portraits are always welcome. Along with a birthday cake smash a year later, because these are my favourite too! Cake, Party decorations, And a bubble bath splash, yes please!
So whatever it is, a celebration, just because, allow me to create some beautiful memories and moments to cherish.
