Welcome to Ten Years!
Welcome back to Time2Shine Photography, I'm Laura and I'm the owner, creator and photographer here at Time2Shine Photography and it is a great pleasure to be here with you today.
When I'm not in the studio or on the computer which is just down the road from the beach, I'm either at home (other parts of the house) doing some renovations or out on an adventure, kayaking or chasing a waterfall or just chilling and reading a book! What do you love doing? Being in the business for ten years and I know how important it is to recharge and unwind to give the best you can in business. My husband and I love being able to travel our backyard and always love a good adventure and in this blog, I'll be sharing some of our trips & tips here too.
Our home has been going through the transformation alongside me. Our master suite is now my new creative studio, lush office space and also my yoga studio too, all in one beautiful 1950's room, with a gorgeous ceiling rose to match, it is pure bliss, the lockdown helped make that decision of being a yoga space, then came Christmas for the creative set for Christmas and after living in the lounge, my office soon become in this space too which works a treat, the vibing of the house is magical! And I am looking forward to being able to do family portraits, newborn portraits, cake smash photoshoots in studio without having to dismantle my creative set and the best part.... We get to use both in one session, it's such a win and it was such an amazing Christmas for 2020 considering the year we all had! I do have to say I was so grateful for such a beautiful set. The fire place was one of the heat sources back in the 1950's for the family, truly takes me back to when they all sat around for a Christmas morning, as this was their lounge too. History and Art all rolled into one beautiful picture.
That my friends is why I am so happy to do what I do here at Time2Shine Photography, capturing moments that last a lifetime and so much more. How amazing would it be to see a picture of the first family in this home back when it was first built. Or the next family that moved in and cherished the walls that provided heat and security.
It's been a long time coming and I've spent far too long away from this beautiful space but now I am back, my mind is on the right journey and so is my heart. Looking back at my blog posts from 2018 it looks like I was definitely needing to take a step back and so grateful I did because this is going to be a magical ride.
Of course I'll be raw and real, showing you tips and tricks that I've learned along the way. Ten beautiful years of running my own business, while fine tuning my own self in personal development. It's been a wild wild journey but I am so grateful that I took the plunge and dove deep into all that I did. And now I am ready to share while I still continue my journey, from a place filled with love and kindness and great respect.
I bring to you the Time2Shine Photography that was built for YOUR Time2Shine inside and out, because we must do the inner work to reap the rewards of this fruitful life. I've gone through storms and I've shined through the rays of of the rainbow and I know I am not alone in the feelings of wanting to be a better person for the greater good and I'm here to share and inspire, along with sharing my beautiful work, the craftsmanship behind my sets and all the moments in between.
